June 21st – Clifton Forge School of the Arts and Sensory Trail Field Trip

Join us on Wednesday, June 21st for a field trip to visit Clifton Forge School of the Arts and Sensory Trail. We will meet at 10:45am in the gardens behind Clifton Forge School of the arts to introduce ourselves, then we will head in as a group.

Discover the arts with a field trip to Clifton Forge School of the Arts! Students will learn about the workshops and studios at the school along with the history of the buildings and mill. We will then head to the mill to discover the wood workshop and participate in a hands-on project. Next, participants will be able to let their creativity fly with open-ended art activities in our historic mill. Be prepared for an art-filled day!

Afterwards we will take a stroll on the Clifton Forge Sensory Trail just behind the school of the arts for a picnic lunch and free play. The Clifton Forge Sensory Trail is a newly developed trail designed to stimulate the body’s 7 senses. Plan to spend the day together!

Cost is $5 per child ages 4 and up. ADVANCED REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED. This field trip is open to any interested homeschoolers. Registration will close Monday, June 19th or earlier if it fills up.
